Apologies for the lack of updates - its taken me days to get on the internet...
Day 3: A good win over Singapore was sandwiched by medium losses to Germany and Finland followed by a tough match against Italy where the hands were wild and the slams came thick and fast.
Day 4: The bridge was such tighter today but a loose final match against India was a real blow to our qualification chances.
On the plus side we crushed Poland by 1 imp which is a personal highlight since in all my years as captain I can count how many times we have beaten Poland on one hand, including the years when we used to win the round robin with a match to go.
