A day for consolidation. A 10 imp win against our Welsh neighbours notable primarily by Welsh sportsmanship since they came to us and pointed out that a board had been mis - scored in their favour. Very nice.

We then played the Israelis. Forrester/Robson had several great results including a brilliant defence by Robson on the last board under extreme time pressure to bring in a game swing and leave us with a 16 imp win in the match.

Finally we lost by just one imp to Turkey- leaving us in 10th place overnight.

Tomorrow we have Latvia, Belgium and Switzerland - I am hopeful for a high scoring day.
