We were hoping to score above average today, would have been content with average, and not downhearted to be a little below. None of those happened - we scored 12.42 out of 60 VPs. I could point to various bits of bad luck, but the truth is that we didn't play well enough and our opponents played better.
We're now in 17th place. We start tomorrow against India, unexpectedly in third place, then play Chile (10th), Colombia (15th) , and Italy (16th). It's not unrealistic to think we can beat all those teams, but we will have to play better than we've done so far. There's a long way to go in this event, and a long way to climb.
